Abstract: In recent years there has been a gradually increasing interest in the terms on which the design and representation of the architectural object is based. This interest, as a product of the occurrence of digital technologies and the convergence of different scientific fields, is based on the specialization of design tools in such a way as to support and enhance the discussion around digital holography as an open process for action. Up until now, the dialogue on the form and representation of the architectural object has paid much greater attention to the creation of tangible models, which function as vehicles for the shaping and projection of visual messages that express and convey the designed object to the social whole. However, the true challenge lies in the development of a methodology or mechanism which, having as its starting point the traditional object representation practices, will allow for a combination of new technologies towards creating new visual messages. In this text, the process of putting together a new architectural object, the digital hologram, will be seen as one such mechanism. The new views and strategies on space are open to treating spatial constructions, as a restructuring of the structures that could bring about changes for more favorable conditions for the representation of the architectural form. Thus, the strategies of architectural pioneering are judged by their ability to develop new procedures that are capable of reversing. This is clearly a pragmatic approach to pioneering, which in the best cases manages to assign new meanings to traditional concepts with which architecture is associated, and to take different design and representation parameters into account in the process of creating an object.

Abstract: Potassium Dihydrogen Phosphates (KDP) crystal has been studied since the early 1930s. It has many important applications, such as the electro-optic modulator, Q-switches, the ultrasonic transducer, the shutter for high-speed photography, frequency doubling and high power laser frequency conversion for fusion research. In response to these applications, the high-quality KDP single crystals are required. The common method of KDP crystal growth is the lowering of the temperature of saturated KDP solution which is held in a cylindrical tank. The disadvantage of this method is the spontaneous appearance of crystalline clusters at the bottom of the tank which retard the growth of the main crystal. Since the 2010s, Sankaranarayanan and Ramasamy have proposed a new method of growing crystal by designing the Y-shaped solution tank. In this study, the KDP single crystals were grown by the Sankaranarayanan-Ramasamy (SR) method. These crystals have better quality, fewer defects, higher hardness and density, and especially material saving compared to ones from the conventional method.

Abstract: It is considered the possibility of determining the density of states of the two-dimensional electron gas as a function of total concentration ns on the basis of some experimental data. For this purpose it is used the known value of the effective mass at the Fermi level from the cyclotron resonance measurements and the number of quantized levels located below the Fermi level from the measurements of the Shubnikov-de Haas. The obtained density of states is compared with model calculation that takes into account the non-parabolic conduction band. The experimental data and model calculations correspond to the hetero structured quantum well InAs/AlSb with width of 15nm.

Abstract: Coulomb Displacement Energies in mirror nuclei 23Mg, 23Na and 47Cr, 47V have been calculated using shell model code OXBASH [1] and compared with experimental results. The calculations were carried out in the USD model space with the W Hamiltonian [2]. This code which is based on one of the most applicable nuclear models, the shell model, deals with evaluating energy levels in nuclei. A comparison had been made between computational results in this paper and the available experimental data to test theoretical shell model description of nuclear structure in mirror nuclei. The energy states of mirror nuclei are almost identical, except for the small effects due to Coulomb interaction where the symmetry in being broken. The calculated energy spectrum is in good agreement with the available experimental data.
